EMPOWERING WOMEN IN AGRICULTURE: SYNGENTA’S BOLD AND INCLUSIVE EVENT

Syngenta Zambia marked International Women's Day by honouring the remarkable women in agriculture at a vibrant farm brunch event and seminar, themed #BoldAndInclusive.

The event’s aim was to spotlight the invaluable role of women in agriculture and to express gratitude for their relentless dedication and resilience, often overshadowed and undervalued.

This event was not just a celebration, but a platform for dialogue, connection, and empowerment. We engaged with 50 women farmers, delving into the challenges they confront and exploring how Syngenta can provide meaningful support.

The event resonated deeply, as these women are shaping the future of Zambian farming. We discussed pressing issues like climate change's disproportionate impact on women in agriculture, reaffirming Syngenta's commitment to ensuring a thriving agricultural landscape for generations to come.
